Michael is a restructuring and insolvency professional with a decade of experience at independent and Big 4 professional services firms in Australia, the Cayman Islands, and the United Kingdom. Michael is a qualified insolvency practitioner and has been appointed as Joint Official Liquidator and Joint Receiver over companies in the Cayman Islands.

Having led restructuring and insolvency engagements across several offshore jurisdictions including The Bahamas, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, and the Cayman Islands; Michael’s breadth of experience includes corporate insolvency (Official and Provisional Liquidations, and solvent liquidations), personal insolvency appointments, pre-lending and independent business reviews, trust and fund disputes, and anti-money laundering engagements.

Michael’s clients benefit from his expertise with investment funds and background in various industries including financial services, aviation, banking, construction & manufacturing, energy, and retail & hospitality.

Michael joined Class XI of the International Insolvency Institute’s NextGen Leadership Program in 2022. He is also a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Melbourne.
